Something about open shevling, natural wood, bright colors, and white grabbed my attention in all these photos. (all Dominomag.com) I have a kitchen that needs some work, but it is well onto its path. There are 3 open shelves over the sink much like the first photo. I would include a photo of it, but am hesitant to show the state of disarray and messiness until I fully move in and re-arrange and re-paint the shelves and cupboards. I am also thinking of ways to re-use extra wood I have acquired from past renovations...maybe a wooden backsplash?
2nd photo: I like small extra shelves for spices and oils, of natural wood, combined with the clean white & silver palatte.
3rd photo: I love the natural feeling of this dining room setup. Those chairs are amazing! I don't know what's up with the bag hanging from the window though...
4th photo: The green backsplash is a great bright accent under dark, open shelves.
